GAURAV MALHOTRA

Gaurav Malhotra is a Partner and Practice Head of the Japan Operations at Zinnov, based out of our India headquarters. He specializes in working with Fortune 500 companies from USA, Europe, and APAC, helping them with globalization initiatives, market expansion, growth strategies, leveraging digital talent, and driving innovation programs. He has assisted companies in setting up and optimizing their global centers of excellence, enabling strategic initiatives, partnerships, and growth journey outside of their HQ.

Gaurav enables on-demand data, insights, networks, thought leadership, and playbooks to drive growth for Indian technology centers. For Japan and the APAC region, he drives P&L responsibility, business growth, overseas customer relationships, account management, and leads ecosystem partnerships.

During his 16 years at Zinnov, he has helped American software clients assess the adoption of digital technologies in the Indian Healthcare market and identify relevant startups for potential collaboration. He has also enabled a large Tier 1 Automotive company to build a business case for their new product offering for a global market. Gaurav worked with a leading Japanese Consumer Electronics and Telecom giant to understand the GIC landscape in India. He is a regular speaker at several Japanese External Trade Organization (JETRO) forums and symposiums, a testament to his expertise in the region.

Using best practices adopted by peers in their R&D centers, Gaurav aids in framing organizational strategies.

Prior to Zinnov, he has worked in Draup, an AI/ ML led Big Data platform company, in heading their Strategy and Business planning. He also built and spearheaded a product platform (G.A.P) focussed on providing strategic and operational guidance for Multi-national Corporations, Tech R&D, IT and digital centers in India.

Prior to this, Gaurav worked with Zenith Exports, a silk manufacturing and export firm where he initiated relationships with clientele across USA and Europe and handled production line and marketing functions.
