KEN WAKASA

Ken Wakasa brings over 25 years of expertise in large-scale software development. Formerly the VP and Group CTO at Mercari, Inc., he led engineering for Japan’s largest C2C online marketplace and spearheaded Mercari India’s inaugural GCC. With prior leadership roles at LINE and Apple, Ken contributed to messenger client and system software development. He played a significant role in Google’s Android OS and Google Maps development and gained extensive experience at Sony and Sun Microsystems in mobile and consumer electronics software.
