ESG or Environmental, Social, and Governance Criteria is one of the most popular indicators that investors use to gauge potential investments. For organizations to look at India as the destination to set up Global Centers of Excellence (GCoEs), it is important to assess what the nation has to offer in meeting companies’ aspirations of ESG.
To this effect, Zinnov conducted in-depth research on key sustainable goals for global organizations and India’s contribution to the same. The research which included 11 verticals , highlighted the criticality of reduction of Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions that has been a key goal for organizations across verticals. In fact, more than 90% of the companies surveyed are prioritizing carbon neutrality, and companies are shifting to renewable energy solutions like solar, wind, and geothermal for meeting their energy needs.
