The Race is on to Net Zero!

At the Intel-Zinnov Sustainability Conclave 2022, we aim to bring forth the link between NetZero and Economic Transformation.

Over 1,200 companies around the world have put in place science-based targets in line with net zero. More than 1000 cities, over 1000 educational institutions, and over 400 financial institutions have, pledged to take rigorous, immediate action to halve global emissions by 2030. India is considered one of the 10 largest greenhouse gas emitters around the world. As a country, it has pledged to reduce carbon emissions by 1 billion tonnes by 2030 and be net-zero by 2070. In support, over 64 Indian companies have pledged net-zero targets. However, the commitment to “Net Zero” still stands ambitious for many organisations.

At the Sustainability conclave, we will look at the economic transformation that a net-zero transition would entail and its impact on the economy, either directly or indirectly. We will explore sustainability during a geopolitical crisis, underlining the basics of integrating sustainable environmental processes into the traditional supply chain. The conference will outline the concept of electric mobility and highlight its contribution to attaining sustainable mobility infrastructures.

The keynote talks, panels, fireside chats will holistically explore a different shade of Net Zero by engaging with key protagonists such as the government, organizations, and individuals who are able to drive deep-rooted change.
