The pandemic has unlocked a ‘bold’ new mindset in leaders across the globe. Having not just survived but thrived in what could be called one of the most disruptive two years in recent times. Leaders are now more ready than ever to unlock new paradigms of talent, technology, and operating models for their businesses. However, in a post-pandemic world, when every company has tasted the power of digital – the growth wars are logically going to become more intense.
Leaders will have to reimagine and reboot their approach as they design organizations with inherent antifragility, to set the foundation of businesses in the new and evolving normal. They will need to realign themselves across dimensions of culture, talent strategy, community building, employee experience, value creation, capability building, communication, and much more.
The COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in the convergence of permanent changes and has reset how we work, live, and play. Using this lens of permanent change, we looked at the various megatrends driving the world today. We looked at how these trends got accelerated by COVID-19 and how broad the impact is on the overall population and markets.
To navigate this new reality with speed, leaders will need to evaluate the future of work from the first principles. Both strategic and tactical decisions such as which tools need to be included to enable remote work, how can team related issues be solved swiftly, how data confidentiality of both customers and employees can be maintained, will all determine an effective future of work.
