Having achieved offshoring maturity in IT and product development, companies are now leveraging their learnings and expanding steadily in the Shared Services space.


Organizations today, in order to gain cost advantages, enhance scalability and leverage burgeoning talent in global locations are offshoring critical functions in Shared Services such as F&A, HR, Procurement, Sales & Marketing, Services and Support.  'Shared Services Organization Model'
The Shared Services operations of large MNCs extends advantages of branding by giving organization-wide benefits like cost, talent, process improvement, service delivery etc. Thus it is pivotal for firms to design a strategic model to organize their Shared Services activities.  A model that can combine multiple cross functions affords distinct financial advantages, and  further adds to the benefits of  building functional centers of excellence such as F&A, HRO etc.  In this discussion, we will examine the benefits that can be drawn by combining several functional streams into an overarching Shared Service Center of Excellence.
